The thrill of successful recovery!

All of a sudden my computer froze several weeks ago.  After waiting for several minutes for it to come back to life, I forced it to shut down by pressing and holding the start button.  Then, I tried to restart it, but it would not boot up properly.

I spent countless hours on the Internet learning about what could have gone wrong. It was an ordeal.  But I was determined to make it work.  And finally I was able to get it to work. 

This blog is a way to capture my experience, so you can avoid the aggravation and trouble that I endured.
